What is ATLAS?

ATLAS is a free 3D galaxy map and imaging planner for astrophotographers. It displays 55,000+ celestial objects from real astronomical catalogs and scores each one in real time based on your location, equipment, light pollution, and current sky conditions — so you always know what's worth imaging tonight.

How we use your data

You can use ATLAS without an account. If you sign in with Google or GitHub, we receive your name, email, and profile photo to identify your account. You may optionally share your location so ATLAS can score targets for your sky. We use privacy-friendly analytics (Plausible) that require no cookies and collect no personal information.
